This is the perfect tea: smooth and delicious. I tried the sample and then came back for the larger size. I appreciate that the company offers temperature guidelines, but they are often too high. The tea tastes better at a lower temperature (175).

Judging by price per cup, availability as a blend tea, and customer ratings, I'd say this unflavored white tea isn't the fanciest available. Nonetheless, I like it. I love the big leaves. Also, some of the white teas are picked at the extra young/tender stage, but the downside of that is the flavor is VERY mild/subtle. I like my tea to have a tea taste, so this rates higher for me that some of the others-- a matter of individual preference. I usually steep at 170 degrees for 3 minutes unless I'm combining the white tea with green. In that case I'll go with 180 degrees for 2-3 minutes.
