Shipping Policy

This shipping policy applies only to products or services that are listed on the website (the "Site") as "Sold and Shipped by Inasbay" and will be shipped to Canada and the rest of the world. For French-speaking consumers, a French version of this policy is available Here.

This policy is part of our Terms of Service. By opening an Inasbay store, you agree to abide by these rules and our Terms of Use.

For Inasbay, an item that is listed on the Site as "Sold and Shipped" by a third-party seller via the Inasbay platform and not "Sold and Shipped by Inasbay" ("Marketplace Item"), the Marketplace Item is shipped directly from the seller. See the Inasbay seller policy for each seller's shipping policy. If there is a conflict between the Inasbay shipping and the seller's policies, the shipping policies on the seller's pages will apply to your orders. Please note that the processing time, excluding shipping, for items is 1-3 business days.

Shipping of your items

Sellers are responsible for packaging and shipping their items sold to buyers. If you use a shipping or logistics service, remember that you are fully responsible for ensuring that your buyers receive their orders.

By selling on Inasbay, you agree to :

  • Provide an accurate shipping origin address.
  • Specify your shipping costs and processing time on the inasbay seller page
  • Ship items as soon as possible after they are sold. Ship as soon as possible means that you ship each item within 10 days of purchase unless stated in your processing time or you agree to a different shipping date with the buyer in Messages. Before changing your processing time for a specific order, you must first obtain the buyer's approval
  • Comply with all local and international shipping and customs regulations. We know that shipping and customs regulations can be complex to read, so you may want to check out these helpful articles on international shipping with United States Postal Service (USPS), Canada Post, UPS, DHL, FEDEX
  • Ship to the address indicated on the Inasbay receipt.
  • Mark the order as shipped as soon as you ship it. Remember, you can mark an order as shipped only when you have shipped it. The buyer will receive a shipping notice when you mark an order as shipped. 
  • Charge an appropriate shipping fee. Sellers may have the option to use the shipping calculator to calculate shipping charges for them automatically. 
  • By providing tracking information or delivery confirmation to Inasbay, you authorize us to collect and share this data with the buyer.

General shipping conditions

The Inasbay shipping terms and conditions apply to all shipping options.

  • Delivery times are measured in business days.
  • All orders are subject to a 1-2 business day processing time before shipping 
  • The estimated arrival date is not a guarantee of the package delivery date 
  • We do not process orders on weekends or Canadian holidays. Although Inasbay and its partners make every effort to get your order to you promptly, international customs procedures can sometimes delay shipments. We do not ship to P.O. Boxes

Signature requirements

Signature requirements depend on the shipping method. We cannot add or remove this requirement for any given order. We require a signature upon delivery for the following order types:

  • Large item deliveries
  • Pick-up orders
  • For items shipped via UPS or Purolator, it is up to the driver to determine whether or not it is safe to leave a package at the door or if a signature is required

International shipping

If a shipping method is marked "International" in your shopping cart, the import fee will be included in the shipping and handling charges.

Large item delivery and white glove delivery

  • Both delivery methods are designed for large items, such as televisions or appliances. On the other hand, white-glove delivers items to a specific room, unpacking them and disposing of the packing material. Please see the FAQs for Large Item Delivery and White Glove Delivery for more information. 
  • The carrier is Same day Worldwide. The carrier will schedule deliveries prior to delivery
  • Delivery within 3-7 business days for most items, delivery within 7-12 business days for large appliances. Rural areas may require up to 15 business days for delivery.
  • Delivery of large items is not available to YT, NT, NU and some unique locations such as some islands.
  • An adult signature is required to certify acceptance of delivery.
  • The driver will bring the item to your front door for front door delivery and not unwrap it.
  • For white glove delivery, the driver will bring the item to the room of your choice, unpack the item and dispose of any unwanted packaging (not always recommended, in case you need to return the item).

Inasbay digital download delivery service

With downloadable software, you don't have to wait for shipping. Typically, you will receive a download link and security code within 1-2 hours (up to 1 business day if your order requires additional verification for processing).

Shipping costs

The total cost of any product purchase will include the shipping and handling charges shown on your Inasbay invoice. Your original shipping charges are non-refundable for the returned products. These charges are paid for services provided by and to the original carrier and will not be refunded if your item is returned for a refund.

For standard residential shipping, your shipping and handling charges may include an additional 1.00 CAD customs brokerage fee, which may be subject to Canadian tax. 

Many products are sold in and from the United States, not Canada. You hold title to the product from the purchase, so the carrier acts as an agent for the buyer, not the seller. 

Inasbay will notify you of estimated shipping dates. Still, Inasbay will not be responsible in any way for delivery delays, and associated damages, due to events beyond its reasonable control, including, but not limited to, acts of God or public enemies, acts of federal, provincial, state, or local government, fires, floods, civil disobedience, strikes, lockouts, and commodity embargoes. 


Inasbay does not cross-deliver products under any circumstances.

Risk of loss and transfer of title

Inasbay will arrange for the shipment of the ordered products to the customer, free carrier (F.C.A.), which means that the risk of loss is transferred to the customer upon delivery to the carrier. Title to the product(s) - except software - will also pass to you upon delivery to the carrier. The title to the software remains with the licensor(s). All software is provided subject to the license agreement of the software manufacturer. You agree to be bound by any software license agreement once the package seal is broken. 

Estimated delivery time

Please note that, unless otherwise stated on the Site, delivery estimates are only estimates and are not guaranteed delivery times, should not be relied upon as such, and do not form part of the contract between Inasbay and you. 

Processing Time

Most items ship within 2 business days after an order is placed*. Allow additional time for shipping to your address.

*Please note: If an item you ordered becomes unavailable, you'll be notified, and a full refund will be processed within 2 business days.

Shipping Area Restrictions
Shipping is not available in the following areas*:

  • Yukon
  • Northwest Territories
  • Nunavut


Inasbay shall have no liability for any claim of non-delivery of the shipment in any of the following cases: 

  • delivery to a pickup center where Inasbay has proof of delivery to that pickup center; 
  • delivery to a freight forwarder where Inasbay has proof of delivery to that freight forwarder;
  • an invalid or incorrect address was provided to Inasbay when the order was placed;
  • any other instance where Inasbay has proof of delivery to the address provided at checkout and this shipment is redirected by you (or your agent/representative) after delivery
