  • Dates: Adds a natural sweetness and depth to the flavour profile.
  • Cinnamon: A warming spice with a sweet aroma.
  • Ginger: Known for its digestive benefits and spicy kick.
  • Nutmeg: Provides a warm, nutty aroma and flavour.
  • Cardamom: Adds a unique, aromatic spice note.
  • Vanilla Powder: Lends a creamy, smooth finish.
  • Black Pepper: Crucial for enhancing the bioavailability of curcumin in turmeric.

Brewing guide

  • Water Temperature: Bring fresh, filtered water to a near-boil, around 200°F (93°C).
  • Tea Amount: Use 1-1.5 teaspoons of Mango Hibiscus Herbal tea per 8 oz (240 ml) of water.
  • Steep Time: Let the tea steep for 5-7 minutes for a flavorful, tangy infusion. Longer steeping can intensify the flavour.
  • Add Milk or Milk Substitute (Optional): For a traditional "Golden Milk" experience, add your favourite milk or milk substitute (like almond, coconut, or oat milk). Stir well to create a creamy texture.
  • Sweeten (Optional): You can sweeten your turmeric tea with honey, maple syrup, or a sugar substitute, depending on your taste preference. A pinch of black pepper can also be added to enhance the bioavailability of curcumin, the active compound in turmeric.

A true turneric taste; which I love. For such a vibrantly colored spice, I find it to be quite mellow tasting. A big grainy, as, of course, the turmeric does not dissolve in water. But delicious and soothing to drink. I prefer it to most other turmeric beverages I have tried.
