Today, we're going to make any fragrance in your collection perform

Today, I'm giving you guys five easy-to-test ways to improve the longevity of any fragrance. Now these methods are very easy to test, but they don't necessarily improve projection if that's what you're expecting, so there's longevity, how long a fragrance lasts, and projection is how loud a fragrance is.

Perfume Tip: Longevity on Clothes

The first, most obvious and popular tip is simply to apply perfume to your clothes. This increases the longevity of a fragrance from 4 hours to all-day wear. Most perfumes on clothes will even last for days, if not weeks, on your clothes. So be careful when you accidentally put perfume on your clothes! This is because clothes don't generate as much heat as your skin. Clothes also act as a kind of matrix that traps fragrance molecules more easily than skin. However, I always say that, no matter what colour shirt you're wearing, you can spray perfume from 40 to 50 cm away. Regardless of its concentration, as long as you maintain this distance, you won't stain your clothes. Simply spray from a distance of 40 to 50 cm. You should also be aware that, since clothes don't have as much heat as skin, they won't project the fragrance as much as skin would.

The Art of Layering with Escentric Molecules Perfumes

Use Molecule 02 from Escentric Molecules. If you're not familiar with the Escentric Molecules brand, they specialize in single-ingredient fragrances. Their most famous release is Molecule 01, which contains pure Iso E Super. 

This molecule is supposed to be a very pleasant scent in its own right, but it also increases the longevity of other fragrances. However, I use Molecule 02 rather than Molecule 01. Why is that? Because Molecule 01 is pure Iso E Super, a fragrance note that is already widely used in most perfumes. For example, YSL L'Homme, I believe, already contains a large amount of Iso E Super. There are fragrances on the market, like Terre d'Hermès, where more than half of its fragrance oil is Iso E Super. So I've found, in my experience, that adding more Iso E Super makes minimal difference when it's already so present in large quantities in these fragrances; it perhaps extends longevity by 30 minutes to an hour. 

The Art of Layering with Inasbay Molecules Fragrances

If you're not familiar with Inasbay marketplace, it specializes in genuine brand fragrances. Their most famous YSL L'Homme, which contains pure Iso E Super. This molecule is reputed to be a very pleasant and universally appreciated scent, but it is also said to increase the longevity of other fragrances.

1. There are even fragrances on the market, such as Terre d'Hermès, where more than half the perfume oil is Iso E Super. I've found that adding more Iso E Super makes little difference when this molecule is already present in large quantities in these fragrances; it may only extend wear by 30 minutes to an hour.
2. To use it, I first spray it on my skin, wait for it to dry for a moment, then spray my fragrance over it. I find that this changes the olfactory profile of the perfume very little, while increasing its longevity by about two hours. For me, it's much more effective than Molecule 01.
3. Use Vaseline everyone knows this trick about moisturizing the skin first before applying a fragrance I find that this is a bit of a myth because with moisturizers the thin ones I find it makes minimal difference to longevity for fragrances on my skin personally however Vaseline is a thicker petroleum jellylike moisturizer where it doesn't feel as depending on your skin but I do find it increases longevity by around an hour so it's not a huge amount still but I find it's a lot more effective than just any moisturizer use the thicker stuff like Vaseline.
4. This might sound like a silly suggestion but literally on the same spot that you spray the fragrance just spray again on top of the fragrance so do a double spray on the same spot of skin my theory is that this increases longevity of a fragrance because you're building a thicker layer of oil of the fragrance that makes more of a barrier between your skin and the perfume it sounds like a troll suggestion like I'm just making a stupid joke I promise you guys a lot of guys don't appreciate this this is a very effective technique double spraying for me is increased longevity from 4 hours to 6 hours so do not underestimate this trick.
5. This is a bit of a cheat but I'm going to recommend you to get your favorite fragrance and put it in a portable atomizer carry around your favorite fragrance wherever you go us guys can just have a spare pocket somewhere where we put it there and halfway through the day we just reapply this is a cheat but it does get you the result you're looking for and it lets you re-experience the top notes at the beginning of the fragrance again throughout the day so don't underestimate it. It is very frustrating when we spend a lot of money on some fragrances. They don't perform, however, I think using a combination of these tips can make any fragrance you want go from a weakling to a lion beast mode fragrance, well, not beast mode.
